Get Rid of the "I, Me, Myself" Syndrome!

Finding Your Dream Partner Is A Skill
A lot of people are talking about online dating these days. I think it is boring... *yawn*!

Why bother with online dating when you can just pick up a girl on the .....
I, Me, Myself are often words we hear these days. We have created distinct identity for ourselves and wish to separate ourselves from todays society. Thinking about ourselves creates a sense of separation between the individuals and the society. But the fact is, we always have a connection with others and the universe in general. this situation is unavoidable.

This I, Me. Myself syndrome leads to ``self-interest,'' ``self-esteem,'' and ``self-image,'' and also to prejudices like My Religion, and My Country. This concept only makes us under-connected, over scheduled and hyperactive. The contributions to the society becomes less and less.

We need to change a little and try to come out of this syndrome in order to contribute to the society and in a way become successful individuals. The factors, which should be looked into, in order to compete and mingle with others in this fast paced world, are:

1. Managing our time by planning our schedule so that we have time for our self as well as for others, say, our family or our organisation we are working in.

2. Self-motivation leading to positive thinking to make us outgoing and extrovert, which in the long run may be useful for us to succeed in our lives.

3. Setting up a goal in life to boost our determination to come up in life.

Making instant and appropriate decisions, using relaxation techniques to be free from stress and strains are all factors, which contribute in making us extroverts, and mingle with the society.

Individuals have an important role in the family front as well. This I, Me, Myself concept becomes an inefficient tool then. We often think that bringing financial stability is all what is needed for a family. Actually the family needs and craves for unconditional love, attention, meals, clean clothes and a house. Maintaining his or her familys emotional nourishment as well as physical, mental and spiritual health is the key component towards contributing to a family. Man or woman, the family needs role models to set examples to children and to go a long way in shaping their future.

In a way, a family helps in shaping up large organisations. The art of delegation of work in the family inculcates commitment and responsibility among the family members. Teaching them to set priorities helps them to prioritize their activities in future. Things go wrong almost everyday, and if the children get the staying power they will weather out all the storms without quitting in future. They also learn to look through situations from all viewpoints and come to a conclusion.
